PAIGNTON CODE CLUB

Code Club UK is a nationwide network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for young people aged 9 – 13

When : First and Third Saturday of the month

Location : Paignton Library and Information Centre

Time : 10am to 12:00 noon

Cost : Free

Age range : 8 – 13 (we are a little flexible on this)

The Following is also installed:

  • Audacity
  • Love2d (2d game engine)
  • Tiled (2d game tile software)
  • Rocksndiamonds

What you need to bring:

  • User names / passwords for online accounts e.g
    • Scratch
    • Trinket and perhaps Repl.it (these are web based development environments)
  • USB Memory sticks to save work to if needed.  Any work left on PCs is deleted when you log out.
  • USB Sticks will be virus scanned automatically when inserted.

KEEP SAFE

Remember when sharing online to follow the SMART rules.  As well as other e-safety advice.
