More Google and Privacy problems

If you are still using google for e-mail, then you should read the recent article disclosing that 3rd parties may be able to read PRIVATE e-mail,   the fact that this is NOT against their policies is rather worrying.

If you want real privacy, then perhaps it is time to dump Google,  if you need services such as cloud and text editing try services such as disroot.  Or e-mail services such as Protonmail.  As Facebook have also admitted sharing information with selected 3rd parties, maybe dump Facebook and move to something like Friendi.ca, which offers privacy and no advertising (or certainly no data driven targeted advertising). May be a little more work, but that is a price worth paying for not being tracked, listened to or spied on.   If you ‘have’ to use Facebook then the Mozilla Firefox container plug in is a good option.

Time to take back control.
